Studio setup guides
One guide for each way of putting Maxisnap Studio online. Each guide says what you need, walks you through every screen, and explains what to do if something goes wrong.
What Studio is
Studio is your own dashboard for the screenshots and screen recordings you upload with Maxisnap: a private library, sign-in codes for your team, and branded share links on an address you own. It runs in your own Cloudflare account or on your own web hosting, so your captures are stored there, not on Maxisnap’s servers.
To start on Windows, open Maxisnap and go to Settings, then Account, then the Maxisnap Studio setup wizard. On a Mac, open Settings, then Welcome & Help, then the Studio Setup Guide. Then pick the guide below that matches your situation.
- I don’t have a website
Put Studio in a free Cloudflare account
No website, domain or hosting needed. Studio runs in a Cloudflare account of your own, on an address ending in workers.dev.
About 20 minutes - My business already uses Cloudflare
Add Studio to your business’s Cloudflare account
Studio is added next to your website, on its own workers.dev address or a new subdomain. Your website and DNS records stay as they are.
About 20 minutes - I have web hosting
Install Studio on your web hosting
For cPanel, hPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin or FTP hosting with PHP. Upload one folder or ZIP file, then open one page.
About 10 minutes - My AI assistant will set it up
Let your AI assistant set up Studio
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another coding assistant on your computer installs either edition and asks you before each change.
Mostly hands-off - I’m a web developer
Studio setup for web developers
Both editions’ source, the command-line deploy for Cloudflare, the upload API, health checks, updates and removal.
For developers - I already have a Studio
Connect Maxisnap to your Studio
Your Studio is already running. Paste its address and a key into Maxisnap, test the connection, and upload.
