One hotkey, one capture, one shareable link. No saving, attaching, or separate upload step.
Ctrl+Alt+7 · Windows 10/11
Screenshot-to-link is a workflow where taking a screenshot produces a shareable URL on your clipboard instead of a file attachment. With the default Ctrl+Alt+7 hotkey, Maxisnap captures a selected region, uploads it, and copies the resulting link.
Maxisnap Cloud is built in. The $20 one-time Studio add-on enables destinations you control, including SFTP and S3-compatible storage such as Cloudflare R2.
Capture → upload → URL copied
The same Ctrl+Alt+7 hotkey can point at different destinations. Each produces the same result: a URL on your clipboard.

Screenshot-to-link FAQ
How do I make a screenshot into a URL automatically?
Install Maxisnap, press Ctrl+Alt+7, and drag a region. Maxisnap uploads the capture and copies the resulting URL to your clipboard.
Does the URL expire?
Do not rely on a hosted share link as permanent archival storage. With Studio and your own SFTP or S3-compatible destination, you control retention and lifecycle rules.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, with the $20 one-time Studio add-on. Configure an SFTP, S3-compatible, FTP, or HTTP destination and its public base URL.
Is the URL private?
Links are unguessable but not authenticated by default. For sensitive content, use your own server with access control, or blur sensitive regions before capture with Maxisnap's blur tool.
What's the hotkey for capture-to-link?
Ctrl+Alt+7 on Windows. It is remappable in Settings → Hotkeys. The macOS app is not publicly available yet.
Stop attaching files. Start pasting links.
Download Maxisnap and turn every screenshot into a URL in one hotkey.
