How to report a bug

Good bug reports get fixed faster. Here's how to write one that helps us reproduce the issue.

1 Use the built-in feedback form (fastest)

Open the Maxisnap tray menu → Help → Send Feedback. Select Bug Report, choose a category, describe what happened, and hit Send. This fills in your system info automatically.

Opens your default email client pre-filled with all the right details.

2 Or email us directly

Send your bug report to feedback@maxisnap.com. Include:

  • What you were doing when the issue occurred
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened
  • Your Windows version and Maxisnap version (shown in Help → About)
  • A screenshot of the problem if possible

Common issues & quick fixes

Hotkey not working

Another app (Monosnap, Snagit, etc.) may have claimed the same hotkey. Close those apps and restart Maxisnap, or remap in Settings → Hotkeys.

Editor window not appearing

Check the taskbar — Maxisnap editor windows can end up behind other windows. Try Alt+Tab.

Upload failed

Check your internet connection and confirm your upload server settings under Settings → Upload.

Capture area shortcut does nothing

Maxisnap may not be running. Look for the Maxisnap icon in the system tray (bottom-right of your taskbar).
